Summer makes my heart so happy!
June gloom made it a little difficult to get out of bed this morning. And seeing a photo of this beautiful bed isn't helping much either...

If I could buy my dad, Dadn, as I first addressed him, anything for Father's Day, this may be it.
Spend a LOT of time outside. Picnics, swimming, my sister's graduation!
Jump in the ocean.
Beat my family in ping pong.
Beautify - my home, closet...
Revamp my garden!
After being away the past couple weekends, I am so excited to have some time to...
Look for some cool leather pants to wear with sneaks.
Enjoy a BBQ involving tennis, hiking, and yumminess.
Work on the house. Hang some more art (finally). Design the daybed for the guest room. Prep for the new countertops.
And of course have a little beach time with my love.
Eight years ago today, Buzz and I celebrated our first Valentines Day together. He led me down a dark path to a beautiful beach, built a bonfire, and then made one of the most incredibly delicious meals ever. I pinched myself the entire time. I still pinch myself eight years later. He really is that lovely.
Travel is at the top of my 2014 list. I've never really set aside the time and just booked the flight, but this year will be different. And Hotel Escondido is calling my name..
Garden more. Savor every bite of freshness it gives me.
Get to Paris. And perfect my French.
Purge. Live with less. Quality above quantity. Always.
Make macarons (that look this pretty).
Only purchase items that will last, that are made with love and good design.
Jump in the ocean more.
Finish my kitchen.
// Just a few thoughts and hopes as this year comes to an end. Cleaning and organizing to prepare for all that 2014 holds... //
Tom Ford's ranch in Sante Fe by Tadao Ando. Phenomenal.
I love, love, love Serge Mouille lights.
I'm not a jewelry fanatic, but I'm lusting after this beautiful ring.
I'd really like to work from this office today. It seems so serene and organized. And that lovely garden behind the french doors... Fun to imagine.
Today is one of those Mondays where I would really like to just do this...
